My dog has IMHA. Is a rabies vaccine safe, or should I get a new vet?

Last year my dog was diagnosed with imha and vet still wants to give her a rabies shot this week. Should I be looking for another vet? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | 12 lbs
