Why is my dog throwing up undigested food and losing weight?

Question

My dog is acting fine but recently has been a picky eater, not eating or drinking much. She has lost weight, throws up once a day partially/mostly undigested food. Stools are small but formed. Urine dark. She still wants to play. Started rice and boiled ground beef. Only one night with no vomiting then started again the once a day or night vomit, about 8 to 12 hours after eating. I highly recommend talking Cassie to a veterinarian. She needs a good physical examination and further diagnostics to determine what is going on with her.
