My dog has warts on paws and legs. Are they serious or spreading?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 years and 5 months old | 27 lbs

My fur baby is 2 years old and she has warts on all 4 of her paws. One is prominent and we started using thuja for it but today I noticed one growing on each of her leg. I am really worried about her, how can I help her ?

I'd have Arial seen by a vet. It's concerning these are growing, and the vet may feel they need to be removed surgically. I'd make an appointment for her to be seen sometime next week. I hope this helps!

According to the pic, It looks like a possible skin tag (fibropapilloma) which harmless, some skin tags can grow a few centimeters but that's need to be confirmed by a vet on examination . that's especially important with any mass that is growing in size, appearance, or color. In addition if it is confirmed as a growing skin tag your vet may consider removal. The bottom line it will need to be checked by a vet.

My dog has a bare spot on the top of her back left paw. The skin is hard like a wart. This is new as it was not there yesterday morning.
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This could be a benign or malignant growth. There is no way of knowing for sure without an examination though this represents a reason to seek veterinary care. This is usually determined with an examination and a fine needle aspirate (FNA) or a biopsy. Treatment depends on the findings up to that point. My 9 month old American Staffordshire terrier has multiple growths which, were called cauliflower growths when I got him fixed last month. He has one on his "back", the inner part of his back leg, and two small ones on the inside of his front leg. Sh
These look like warts and tend to resolve over time. They should be removed for biopsy examination if not shrinking over 3mths or so. These can be caused by a virus and he may be infectious to other dogs

I’m not really sure what is growing in my dogs leg. My vet said back in June it was just a wart but I’m thinking it’s something. The pictures I attached are from June til today.
I would consider having this removed and biopsied. My concern is it is already ulcerated and will most likely need either oral or topical medication but if you wait to remove it and it continues to grow it is going to be very difficult to remove. The reason for this is because there is not a lot of skin in that location so they may not be able to close it adequately. I would recommend at the time of removal to biopsy it to determine the true cause of that. Thank you for using Boop by Petco.

Hello. These look to be very typical warts. Just keep an eye on them to make sure they do not start enlarging. Generally, the only time we worry about warts is if a pet begins to chew on them causing bleeding. Otherwise, it is just a sign of aging & there is no need to really worry about them. This looks like it might be a papilloma, but other skin growths can look similar. I'd recommend having your vet take a look in person to determine what this might be. They might recommend taking a sample using a small needle to determine what it is.

It needs to be checked by a vet. They may want to take a fine needle aspirate of it to check that it isn't anything nasty. They will be able to check too wether it is worth removing it before it gets too big to take off.

In your second picture it does look like Val might have a skin growth that could be a papilloma or wart, or might be something like an adenoma. I doubt that is the ultimate cause of her signs since both legs are affected. Her toes look red and I'd be suspicious of a secondary bacterial or fungal infection. Mites are possible and would show up on a skin scrape. Allergies might also be triggering these recurrent infections. I wouldn't recommend any home treatments especially since this is recurrent - I'd recommend talking to your vet to see what they would recommend as the next step.

We have noticed a small growth on the front right paw of our Weimaraner that seems to be getting larger. Should we get it checked out?
Yes, if it is changing then have Hermes examined by your veterinarian. After a physical exam, a fine needle aspirate can be done in the clinic to collect a sample to submit for pathology. If the growth has to be removed, it is better to do it before it grows too large. Place an e-collar (cone) on Hermes to prevent licking if necessary.

My dog has warts on his side, he's had them since he was a few months old, he's 3 yrs old now. He likes to chew them raw and they have gotten bigger.
I would recommend having these removed. Mainly because Jango won't leave them alone, they have grown and we cannot say if they are cancerous or not unless we have a biopsy. Your vet can remove this and then send it out to the lab to have the pathologist review it. Thank you for using Boop by Petco.
