Updated On September 23rd, 2025

We are from Chicago and drove to Florida yesterday which is about an 18 hour drive. Our dog was is a Morkie was fine the whole way until we got here. We took her to dinner with us tonight outside and in the car on the way there and home she was panting, yawning a lot, very hot, breathing very fast and her heart was beating super fast. She is an anxious dog but she she is anxious she usually just shakes and pants

Hello, thank you for your question about Lulu. Based on the symptoms you are describing and the recent history of significant travel I would suspect that she is experiencing anxiety/stress secondary to this large change. If this behavior continues or Lulu develops any other symptoms I would recommend having her seen by a veterinarian to look for any other underlying problems. Hope this helps!
