Poor kitty! Since this wound looks rather deep and he is limping, I would definitely recommend having him seen by a veterinarian - it looks like he will probably need an antibiotic and possibly an anti-inflammatory or other pain medication, in order to treat the injury and help it heal.

    This wound is getting infected fast, i don't think this is time for first aid tricks, he needs to be put on antibiotics ASAP in order to resolve this problem, anything else will cause him more pain and suffering, and it will not get better. you must take him to the vet ASAP in order to get it treated.
