What's this weird, non-painful spot on my dog's belly near his leg?

Hi, our dachshund has an odd spot on his belly near his lower leg. It doesn’t seem to irritate him or hurt at all. He isn’t licking it or concerned if I touch it, and he doesn’t seem to be losing any hair. It doesn’t quite look like any of the pictures I can find online. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired) | Male | neutered | 17 lbs

This looks like a bruise, or possible bug bite. I recommend you photograph it every 3-4days for 7-10days to monitor if it is reducing or not. A full check up would be required if it is extending, changing colour or becomes painful or if it does not resolve within 3-4weeks.
