Pet's info: Dog | Whippet | Female | spayed | 16 years and 2 months old | 26 lbs
One of my Whippets sadly had meningitis at just over a year old. she was treated with steroids but it cam back shortly after her first treatment ended, so she had a longer course, 18 months in all. during the last treatment she was found to have developed pancreatitis. My vet says it could be the long steroid treatment. She is fine now (6 years old) and is on a low fat diet, but I was wondering if there is a safe oil suppliment I can give her as she has very dry itchy skin and sheds her fur.x

Wow, poor Megan has had a lot of health problems, I'm so glad she made it through them! Given her issues, I think it's best asking her vet if there is a safe oil supplement to give her. I don't want to suggest anything that could cause a problem, and without seeing her in person, I don't know what would be safe for her or not. Best of luck.
