Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 15 days old | 17 lbs
Female Labrador puppy is 10 weeks old. After receiving a clean bill of health, she was given vaccinations and heartgard. Initially, she was extremely lethargic. Later that day I noticed a large tender lump (tennis ball size) on her right side. This lump is not near the injection site. It is on her right side near her stomach. The lump has shrunk in the past couple days (large marble), but is still tender. What could cause this? Will it go away on its own?

If this lump isn't near the infection site, I suspect that it's not related to Sunshine getting her vaccines. She could have injured herself or she could have a cyst causing this lump. It's good that it's going down, but because it's tender to her, I think it's best to have her checked out by a vet. I would take her into one in the morning. I hope this helps.
