Why is my senior Lab leaking clear, odorless fluid like urine?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 10 years and 3 months old

Black Lab, 10 years old. She has been losing clear fluid (as if she peed) but it does not seem to be urine. Also there is no odor so I don't think it's anal glands. It seems to be significant amounts as if she peed. Then it could happen again a few minutes later. Happened twice while watching us eat. Note: I do feed her people food. What could this be?

If her urine is dilute then it could be urine as it would be clear. The best thing would be to have her examined by a vet to determine the cause. Your vet can run a urinalysis and blood-work, if necessary, to see if she has a urinary tract infection, kidney disease, endocrine disease, etc.
