My dog still has fleas after flea meds. Why are they lasting?

Mia is on revolution flea meds. I just gave her a bath and four fleas came off of her. I keep finding them. I don’t get it. Why aren’t they biting her? Don’t understand why they’re lasting so long. I feel like I’m failing as a dog mommy. Even my huskies don’t have fleas and they’re outside dogs. Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Female | spayed | 2 months and 20 days old | 25 lbs

Fleas live in the environment, not on the dog. They jump on the dog to feed, and then jump off. If you haven't disinfected your home, that will be a continual source of fleas. You aren't failing! Wash Mia's bedding in hot soapy water, and vacuum the furniture and carpet surfaces. You can use a spray to kill fleas in the house, such as Indorex, or a flea bomb would work well to kill the fleas in the home. I hope this helps!
