My cat is losing fur on his tail. Is this normal for a 1-year-old?

Hello! My cat is about 1 years old and I’ve noticed that in the past month he is starting to miss the fit that is at the top of his tail. It seems to keep going down. I was just concerned and wanted to ask about this sort of situation. Thank you so very much!

Could Bowser be any cuter??!! I'm serious, he is beautiful. This hair loss could be from an injury, allergies, a skin infection, or even fleas. Since the fur loss is going down, I'd have this checked out by a vet. The vet can diagnose the cause, and can treat him for it. I hope this helps.
