Why is my cat quiet, not eating, and whistling after a fight?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Male | neutered | 8.1 lbs

Hi, so basically the situation is that my cat has clearly been in a scuffle while out and about, he is being massively quiet, won't eat or drink and is just laying under one of my family members beds. I want seem to see any other injuries than one on his face, he is making a whistling noise when breathing.

This is a medical emergency, and Zeus has to see a vet now. It sounds like he was injured in this scuffle, and he will be in a lot of pain leading him to be lethargic, and not eat or drinking. When a cat won't eat or drink, it's extremely serious, and he has to have veterinary care right away. Please take him into a vet immediately.
