My pregnant cat has calicivirus. What should I do if vet can't treat?

My pregnant cat Mindy has calicivirus, she's drooling and her muzzle looks infected, when i asked the vet if they could treat her, they said they couldn't treat pregnant cats with calicivirus. What should i do?

Hi, I think she should be able to have some antibiotics to prevent secondary infections if you notice that there is some discharge that could indicate this. She could have some fluids and also some food to encourage her to eat if she is not doing so ( Hill’s recovery). Hope this helps,
