Is a Husky German Shepherd mix okay in an apartment while I work?

I’m thinking of getting a husky/ German Shepherd mix. I work 7am-6pm but come home for an hour over lunch. If I ran the dog a few miles before work. Spent an hour with it over lunch. Then exercised again after work would it be ok staying in my apartment during the time I’m away? i don’t have a yard but plan to exercise it regularly with me during other parts of the day. Only work 4 days a week too.
