Can my cat get sick if he ate a spider? Lastly we been having lots of spiders around our house and just last night I found a black widow in his water I immediately cleaned his bowl but I’m afraid he’ll eat one if he sees it . What should I do? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 1 year old | 10 lbs

Chandler can definitely have a reaction if the spider bites him. Not all cats will have a reaction but some will. I would recommend talking with an exterminator to make sure you can try to get rid of the spiders. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
