Found newborn kittens: What housing and potty care do they need?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | unspayed | 3 days old | 0.2 lbs

We took a cat in our barn to a shelter and then we found out she had kittens a few days ago and we think they are 3 days old. We bought formula and bottles and feed them every 2 hours but I don't know what else they need. What should I keep them in? Do I need to clean them and help them pee?

These kittens needs to be kept in a very warm room in a box with blankets. You will need to help them pee and pass feces. I will put a link below to an article that will tell you how to raise them. I hope this helps! https://www.2ndchance.info/orphankitten.htm
