Why is my dog not eating, pooping, or peeing after a Whimzee chew?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 11 months old | 25 lbs

my dog had a whimzee chew on saturday afternoon. yesterday she started not being able to poop much, or having diarrhea with a water consistency every 10 minutes. we gave her pumpkin and milk and that didn’t change bowel movements. she stopped eating all together but still was drinking. this morning we gave her some rice and chicken broth and she had one sort of normal poop but now she isn’t pooping or peeing at all even though she’s drinking and eating occasionally.

Poor Harper! It sounds like that chew has really upset her stomach. Keep feeding her the rice and chicken broth, and add in some boiled white meat chicken (no bones). Keep a close eye on her, and if she still hasn't peed or pooped by the morning have her seen by a vet. I hope this helps.
