Pet's info: Cat | American Longhair | Female | spayed | 11 months and 8 days old | 8 lbs
My cat has been refusing water for the past few days after vomiting twice and the only way I have gotten her to drink is by putting her dry food into the water. She has been playing normally and does not show signs of being sick despite the vomiting. She seems to be thirsty because she immediately drinks the water mixed with the food but will not touch her water bowl. It’s been days since she threw up. I’ve changed her water and cleaned her bowl and she still does not want it. Is this healthy?

This is concerning, and while it's good she will drink the water mixed with the food, you do want her to drink from the water bowl. Give her canned food and add water to it to get more water in her. I'd try getting her a pet water fountain. It provides a constant source of fresh water, and cats tend to love drinking from it. I have one for my cats, and they love it. I hope this helps!
