Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 10 years and 1 month old | 60 lbs
My dog was diagnosed with congestive heart failure about a little over a month ago - she was prescribed 40mg of furosemide twice a day - just over the weekend she started coughing again, my vet told me today to increase the dose to 50mg twice a day - since I was talking to her I noticed that the phlegm is white and VERY thick as well as she vomited bright yellow (only once). Should I be concerned or wait 24 hours to call and take her back in? She is eating and acting normal otherwise.

Poor Lily! Given than you just increased the medication and she eating and acting normally, give it 24 hours to see how she dos. If things do not improve in 24 hours or she gets worse, take her into the vet. I hope this helps.
