Pet's info: Bird | Conure | Male | unneutered | 10 months and 11 days old | 1lb
My 10 month old conure has taken to biting me frequently. I feel it is to get my attention. He is with me but not getting my direct attention. He is biting to get the attention . I realize the mistake im making as i cannot give him the undivided attention he wants. He is a cuddler, when not biting, but i cant spend the plethora of time. He is out of the cage, on the sofa with me as much as possible. The pain and negativity of the experience is very taxing.

I'm sorry to hear about ZaZu's biting! I'm attaching a few articles about biting in birds that may be helpful for you. If you can't spend a lot of time with him during the day, I also recommend adding in some enriching toys such as puzzle toys filled with treats, things that can be chewed on, or items that allow him to preen or play, to help redirect this energy (and biting behavior) onto appropriate objects. https://www.petcoach.co/article/bird-biting-why-they-do-it-and-how-to-correct-it/ https://www.petcoach.co/article/causes-of-behavior-problems-in-birds-and-possible-solutions/ https://www.petcoach.co/article/the-hidden-benefits-of-toys-for-your-pet-bird/
