Why can't my older Doberman lift his head and seems to be in pain?

I have a nine year old Doberman he keeps is head down and can't lift it he is in pain. Pet's info: Dog | Doberman Pinscher | Male | unneutered | 8 years and 3 months old

If your dog is unable to lift his head there is something seriously wrong. At best he must be in a lot of discomfort from a soft tissue injury, and it could be something more sinister than that. I would take him to your vet asap.
