Hi, in general cats are very clean animals and they do take care of themselves so you should not bathe them. If you really wanted to bathe them you could get them used to it and bathe them once every 6 months. Hope this helps !

Hello. Just like people, some cats are just lazier than others. If you do not mind bathing Brook, then you certainly can do so. I would not bathe her more than once a month unless she gets very soiled. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

A dog should not be bathed more than once a month, but you can do it more often if Sugar is dirty. Because bathing too often strips their skin of their natural oils, it should not be anymore than once a week if he's dirty. As for bathing a cat, no I don't recommend it. Cats hate water and bathes, and it's very stressful for them. I only recommend doing it if they are extremely dirty, such as having poop stuck on their rear end. I hope this helps!
