My hamster has been having diarrhea all over her private area and tail and I’m not sure what’s going on?

Thanks for reaching out about Nugget. Wet tail is a common name for diarrhea in hamster, but usually relates to a bacterial infection. But there are other common causes of soft stool in hamsters, including parasites (flagellates, tapeworms), metabolic disease (liver, renal), and other concerns. A veterinary visit is recommended to help with a diagnosis. Good luck.
