Hi my dog was having diaharrea since Thursday. He went to the vet today, bloodwork came back clear but there was some blood in his stool. We started the first dose of anti diahreal meds at 7 pm per thr drs instructions. How long will it take to kick in? We were going to bring him back to the vet in the am if it continued

Poor Jack! Diarrhea medications generally work pretty fast, usually 12-24 hours later the pets are noticeably improved. Feeding a bland diet can help as well. Make sure to keep Jack's veterinarian updated and informed on his condition. I hope he feels better quickly and please feel free to post any additional questions.
