My cat's lips are swollen and red. Could it be his broken fang tooth?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 10 lbs

My cat got into a fight with another cat a couple months back and broke his top fang tooth. He never showed any signed of discomfort and never stopped eating so I choose to not take him to the vet. Now his lips are swollen and red and inflamed. Could I be because of his broken tooth? Any home remedies for this?

I would be concerned this could be due to Ollie's broken tooth or another dental problem. There are no home remedies for this, he needs to see a vet. Please take him into one first thing in the morning.
