New puppy anxiety: How to tell if my pup is sick or just sleepy?

We just got our 8 wk old pup last Monday. As adorable and fun she is; I am feeling anxious about everything! What are basic ways to tell a pup isn't feeling great? Puppies seem to sleep so much- how do I distinguish btw lethargic and lots of naps? Pet's info: Dog | Labradoodle | Female | spayed | 2 months and 3 days old | 8 lbs

Congrats on your new puppy! It can be anxious getting a new puppy, and I get that. Puppies do sleep a lot, but you want to see periods of where Pepper is playing. She should be active and running around when awake. If she is slow moving, doesn't want to play, doesn't want to wake up, that is not normal. Also not eating, vomiting, and diarrhea are signs of being ill. If you see any of those signs, have her seen by a vet. I hope this helps!
