Can a hyperthyroidism cat have pumpkin purree? i think she got into the dogs food, and has an upset tummy and i heard pumpkin purree is good for upset stomachs. but i’m not sure with her thyroid. she usually eats the science diet y/d thyroid cat food. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 15 years old | 9.41 lbs

No. I don’t recommend to give her pumpkin as it may effect her Y/D diet. I recommend to call her veterinarian for treatment options. Probiotics can help some of these kitties. Best of luck and please feel free to post any additional questions.
