My puppy is puking after another died of suspected parvo. What to do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 lbs

I recently got 2 puppies, last night the male died of what I think is parvo but the female was eating and everything and doesn't have any symptoms like the other one did until a couple of hours ago. She has been running around and playing with everybody but now she's puking. I cannot afford to go to a vet and they are closed at 1 am anyways. What should I do?

Unfortunately, parvo is a serious medical condition and if you suspect one or both dogs had it, you need to seek veterinary care immediately. Parvo can stay in the environment for months, so making sure to keep your puppy separated and to thoroughly clean all environments she has come into contact with is best.
