My Corgi chews leashes. What's the best chew-proof retractable leash?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Female | spayed | 2 months and 16 days old | 25 lbs

I am looking for a heavy duty retractable Leah’s to use for my corgi because she chewed through the other one I had. Need something that she can not chew through and still be retractable. Any suggestion?

I'm not sure that any retractable leash will be chew proof since the leash material has to be thin enough to roll around the spool and retract. You could try a 'tape' retractable leash that has a wider, flat leash. If you want a truly indestructible leash you may not be able to use a retractable leash.
