Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 10 months old | 6.5 lbs
Nancy is now 50 days pregnant and this is gonna b her 2nd litter of kittens .... Something like a discharge is coming from her area...whats that is that common... Need ur advice Petco Pet Education Center.... And i wanna ask u the another thing that is .... Nancy's first litter of 2 kittens are staying with her evwn now ....should i keep both the kittens away from her the age of the kittens are 4 monthes ..... Will the old kittens harm the new coming babies ? Help me out ...thank uh pet coach.

Hello! The answer to your first question depends on the color of this discharge. If it's clear, that's normal. If it's red or greenish tinged, that is not normal and Nancy needs to see a vet immediately. Yes she should be separated from the older kittens. Mother cats can be very protective of their newborns, and she could attack them. She should have her own room with complete privacy and no access from other cats when she has her kittens.
