My adopted adult dog never got vaccines. Is it safe to vaccinate now?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 2 months old | 30 lbs

i just recently adopted my dog and she’s about a year old. she never got her vaccines so i was wondering if i get them now , if it would hurt her or be bad to get them now ?

No - it will not hurt her and I would definitely recommend getting her vaccinated! There are many dogs in shelters who get their vaccines as adults. Some core vaccines like the DAP combo might require a booster while others like rabies don’t.

    Great questions! Yes, you can get her vaccines up to date. Dasha should not only have rabies, but she should have her core vaccines as well, including distemper, parvovirus, and canine hepatitis. Lyme disease is a good idea as well. There are low cost clinics in the US, and I will include a link where they are listed by states, and there are also cheap and/or free vaccine clinics run in different places.
