My dog ate too much Bravecto. What should I do? Induce vomiting?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | 1 year and 9 months old | 50 lbs

My dog is about 50 pounds and ate at her dose of Bravecto (44-88 pound dose) and also ate HALF of my other dogs dose (half of a 22-44 pound dose). She is not showing any adverse reaction, but this just happened about 20 minutes ago. Should I induce vomiting?

Bravecto has a wide margin of safety and I don’t think there would be an issue. I would recommend calling the company at the number listed on the box - they should have people available to answer questions like this. If you aren’t able to reach someone then I’d recommend contacting the Pet Poison Helpline (www.petpoisonhelpline.com).
