Pet's info: Dog | English Cocker Spaniel | Female | spayed | 3 years old | 28.6 lbs
My dog has lip fold dermatitis. Twice in two months it has become infected and she has been on antibiotics. I have been told to clean it after every time she eats with clorexyderm wipes. I was wondering if there was something else I could do or can you recommend any way to manage this condition?

Definitely keeping the area clean on a daily basis is one of the best things you can do. Also make sure that you keep the food bowls cleaned with soap and water once a week. This may be related to a food allergy and you may talk to your veterinarian about a food trial with a hydrolyzed diet. Lastly, adding in an omega-3 fatty acid for dogs can help improve skin health overall. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
