Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 17 lbs
2.5 yrs ago, now 13 yo male cat had nausea, loss of appetite & inability to hold down water. After 5 days at vet w/ blood tests, daily exams and IV, the vet stabilized cat; all tests normal, but cat's ability to hold food & water was still unstable w/ persisting nausea. After 12 hrs, I decided to give him HQ, plain yogurt, & within 48 hours, it was like nothing happened. This has now happened 3 times in the 2.5 yrs w/ just 1st trip to the vet. Event 2 & 3 were vomit, yogurt, 48 hrs-- BETTER.

If yogurt is helping it is possible there could be an issue with the digestive tract flora, either from a food allergy, antibiotics, or other health issues. There are prescription veterinary probiotics available from your vet that may be useful to give Adzuki longer term if you've noticed probiotics are helping. I would schedule a visit with your vet to rule out any other health issues, and let them know how this has helped.
