My unneutered male cat meows excessively at night. What can I do?

He got his shots 2 days ago and has been excessively meowing since but it only seems to start at night I am not sure what to do to help him. Pet's info: Cat | American Longhair | Male | unneutered | 9 lbs

I see that Callie isn't neutered. He may be sexually mature, and he wants to go outside to prowl for females. Cats like to do this at night, and that could be why he is excessively meowing. I would have him neutered to see if this stops the behavior. Best of luck.
