My small dog ate licorice and is sick. What should I do now?

Hi My small 6kg dog has gotten into a packet of licorice all sorts I am not sure how many she ate but could be up to 100g. She has vomited once and is obviously not feeling very well. Her tummy is pretty firm. What can I do to help her? Pet's info: Dog | Poodle | Female | spayed | 8 years and 2 months old | 13 lbs

I would take her to a vet asap as there is a compound in black licorice that can be toxic in high doses. It can cause issues with blood pressure. Hopefully she has brought most of it up when she vomited though. The vet will be able to check her out and make sure all is okay. She will likely have s sire stomach regardless, and the vet will be able to administer some medications to settle the stomach and make her feel better.
