My dog is covered in black oil and acting strange. Is it an emergency?

as you know i have a spitz dog and she is totally covered in black greasy oil and it has been now almost 9 hours completed and she is not behaving normally ... i don't know what to do?? I AM TOO WORRIED!!! please help me .... what should i do. Pet's info: Dog | Spitz | Female | 1 year old

If her behaviour s abnormal she should be assessed by an emergency vet to rule out poisoning from toxic subtances which may have been in the oil. She will also need to be decontaminated, washing with cool detergent may help but in severe cases clipping may be the fastest and safest option, especially if she is disorentaed and may drink or swallow water, Try to prevent her licking or grooming herself until you have haer assessed as swallowing the ol may be dangerous to her
