How can I safely catch scared stray cats to rescue and care for them?

Hi,two grown up stray female cats showed up,I want to rescue them and start care for them but I couldn't catch none of them, I sat on the street for half an hour,fed them with tasty food but they're afraid to come close enough,the one came near and I touched her and she ran away,they hide in the bushes and no one is interested to help,no one wants to search and find them,have you any advice how can I catch them,I'm working and care for my cats and I can't afford to stay long time on the street
