Why is my dog listless, disoriented, and moving very slowly?

my dog's been listless and disoriented since Friday I can find nothing else wrong with him he pees and poops and is eating but doing everything very slowly. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 10 years old | 10 lbs

He could be painful somewhere as neck and back pain are common in small breed dogs. If this is not the case, his veterinarian may recommend laboratory work to determine if there is an internal disease causing his symptoms. In the meantime, encourage him to continue to eat and drink.
