Why is my cat coughing, choking, and has green mucus from mouth?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 4 years and 10 months old

Timmy has a greenish mucus draining from his mouth and I believe is coughing alot more when he tried to eat or drink it almost sounds like he is chocking the drainage from his nose is clear this started about a month ago he is strictly an inside cat now we have 1 other cat that seems healthy

Hi, and thanks for your question. This sign could be compatible with an upper respiratory tract inflammation/infection or possibly to a chronic rhinitis (inflammatory, allergic, infective). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.
