Why are my 2-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy's eyes red? Vet needed?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Great Pyrenees | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 13 days old

We got our Great Pyrenees today! He is just two months old but as the day has been progressing we noticed his eyes get more red. Is this normal ? Is it allergies ?? Do we go to the vet ASAP or can it wait for Saturday ?

Congrats on your new puppy, Apollo is so cute! I would take him into the vet first thing Monday morning. It's concerning that his eyes are getting more red, and that's not normal. Any eye problem needs to be checked out promptly as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. I hope this helps!
