What if I gave my dog his medication dose too early? Will he be okay?

I accidentally gave my dog his med 3 hours before it was due. Rymadil chew 1/2 tab. I gave him one at 11am his next dose was due at 11pm but I accidentally gave it at 800pm, so 3hours before it needed to be given. Will he be ok? Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | neutered | 9 years and 1 month old | 12 lbs
