My budgie sleeps, drinks much, and had a 20-min seizure. What's wrong?

i have a budgeriar she sleeps a lot and drinks a lot of water she also has some kind-of feather cyst she started shaking when bathed and the seizure lasted for 20 min. Pet's info: Bird | Canary | Female | 7 years and 7 months old

Thanks for reaching out about Julie. Drinking excessive amounts of water, lethargic and possible seizures could possibly points towards kidney disease. When the kidneys can't function well, they loose the ability to concentration urine, thereby loose water, thus drink more. As the renal function worsen, metabolic toxins can accumulate leading to seizures. A veterinary visit is needed soon. Good luck.
