My dog is a PICKY EATER! He won't touch dry dog food without some wet food in it, and he gets tired of the same flavor and will start refusing it if I don't change flavors regularly. I've more or less compromised with him on this, but recently he got sick and has been prescribed a bland diet of chicken and rice - except he refuses to touch the rice. I've tried the prescription dog food, and he won't touch it either. I don't know what else to try, and I'm at the end of my rope with him!

Hello, thank you for your question about Simba. One other thing that you could try to help entice him to eat some of the white rice would be to pour some low sodium chicken broth onto it to help it have more flavor and be similar to the chicken that is eating. In general since he will hopefully be on this bland diet for a short period of time, if he continues to eat only the chicken or protein in the meal, this will not cause any significant problems. Hope this helps, good luck!
