Does my recently spayed Lab's stomach skin and nipples look healthy?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 2 years and 4 months old | 62 lbs

I just adopted a 2 year old yellow female labrador. She was recently spayed and I wanted to know if her stomach looks healthy. I think the incision area looks good. What do you think about the nipples and skin around? Does it look healthy?

Jamee’s spay site looks to be healing well. The dark pigmentation may be related to previous irritation and may go away on its own. Feeding a diet aimed at skin health like Royal Canin or Nutro can also help. An omega 3 fatty acid for dogs can also help. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
