My dog butt scooting and licking after anal glands again. Can I wait?

Hi I just took my dog to get his anal glands expressed a week ago, today he started butt scooting and licking his bum a lot my vet is available until Sunday morning (today is friday) is it fine to wait that long? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 9.2 lbs

That is absolutely fine, Cupo can wait and be seen on Sunday morning. I would recommend to increase fibers in the diet. There are several commercial brands of high fiber dog food available but he can be supplemented with bran which will increase the bulk of the stool. A buster collar would be helpful to avoid further licking.
