How to keep my dog calm in crate during leg injury recovery?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 8 months and 22 days old | 63 lbs

My dog leg bone was relocoted.so doctor said to keep in a carpet cage so he can stay in one place.so is there anything to do to keep him in one place.but when hes in rhe cage he shouts to take him out.when we takes him out he runs allover

You just need to ignore Shady crying to get out and keep him in the cage until it's time to take him to the bathroom. Take him out to potty on a leash, and bring him right back into the cage when he's done. I know it's annoying his crying, but he has to rest in order to heal his bone. Best of luck.
