My puppy has parvo and is eating. What and how much should I feed?

My puppy got diagnosed with parvo two days ago and I took him to vet and they gave him fluids but my puppy still eats and drinks water. I just don’t know how much food to give him since he got parvo he is a puppy weighs 25 pounds. How much u think I should feed him everyday since he got parvo? And what should I feed him?

Hello. That is great that Captain still wants to eat. If there is no vomiting, then feed him his regular puppy chow. He should probably be eating 3-4 cups a day, but go easy by feeding small meals more frequently, perhaps 1/2 cup every 2 hours. If he vomits, cut back. Hopefully, he only has a very mild case & he will be back to normal quickly. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
