My dog ate gummy bears and is peeing a lot. Should I call the vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 6 years and 4 months old | 25 lbs

Hi, my dog recently got on the table and ate a whole bag of gummy bears. In conjunction with this, tonight he lost his bladder multiple times in the short trip to the bathroom. He is potty trained and has never had this problem before. He went multiple times/large amounts in this short time frame and I’m just wondering if there is something more serious going on and I should take him to the vet, thanks!

That's not good that Brody ate those gummy bears! If they weren't sugar free, you may see some GI upset at most. As for the indoor accidents, when a dog who is normally potty trained starts having accidents in the house, this can be a sign of a medical issue such as a UTI or bladder stones. It could also be he has an increase in drinking leading to an increase in urination. A disease like diabetes can cause this as well. I'd have him seen by a vet in the morning to be safe. I hope this helps!
