My chicken has yellow diarrhea, is listless, and acting strange. What to do?

Hi. I need help. I'm worried for my chicken Domino. She is acting strange. She is not isolated but moves very little, has little appetite, slightly ruffled feathers, and weird yellow rectal discharge that may be diarrhea. Her head is tucked close to her body. She is usually upbeat, and loves food. The rest of the flock is fine. She is a pullet that is close to laying age. She let me pick her up and hold her with little resistance, which is unlike her. What's wrong with her? How can i treat her?

Poor Domino! It sounds like she may be experiencing some issue such as an infection or illness, especially if she is listless or having strange colored stool. It would be best to remove her from the flock and place her into a hospital enclosure that is kept warm and with easy access to food and water. Since her symptoms are also very vague, it is also a good idea to see if there is a vet near you that will take a look at her so they can determine the cause of her symptoms and provide treatment as needed such as fluids or antibiotics.
